Birth-time questions

What can Zohvia tell me without an exact birth time?

You can read the learning guides and prepare your known birth details. A personal chart needs an exact time: even the Moon can cross a sign, nakshatra, or pada boundary during the same date. Details entered in this free tool stay in this browser tab and are not saved as a profile or report.

What can't it tell me without a time?

Zohvia cannot calculate a personal chart or Match without exact birth times. The ascendant and houses depend on time and place, and other chart labels can change near a boundary. No default time or substitute ascendant is used.

How can I find my actual birth time?

Check a hospital record, birth certificate, contemporaneous family record, or another reliable source. Family memory may help you search, but a broad estimate is not exact enough for Zohvia's current calculator.

What if I only know an approximate time?

An approximate time is not supported by this calculator. Keep looking for a recorded time rather than turning an estimate into an exact-looking entry. You can still use the glossary and methodology guides without sharing birth details.

Can I fix this later if I find out my real birth time?
