Data & Account Deletion
Signed-in users can export a machine-readable copy of account data or permanently delete the account from the Zohvia account menu. You can also email us. These controls apply to server-stored data; a free calculation that you do not save remains in the browser page state rather than creating an account record.
1. Export account data
- Sign in and open the account menu.
- Select Export my data.
- The server verifies the account session and returns a JSON file.
The current export includes available account and identity metadata, saved profiles and match rooms, reports and corrections, entitlements and de-risked checkout records, account-linked product-research records, and analytics tied to the account or the opted-in identifier held by that browser. Email-only research or lead records are not matched automatically because an email address can later belong to someone else.
2. Delete the account
- Sign in and open the account menu.
- Select Delete account.
- Type DELETE, then select Delete account permanently.
The endpoint verifies both the active session and evidence of an interactive sign-in from the last 10 minutes, cancels any active Zohvia Plus subscription before its next renewal, revokes the Supabase session, runs the account-data deletion, deletes the authentication account, and signs the browser out. If subscription cancellation or another required deletion step cannot be confirmed, the account is not deleted and the product tells you to retry or contact support. If the sign-in is older, sign out and sign back in before retrying. Completed deletion cannot be undone. Export any information you want to keep before confirming.
3. What the implemented deletion covers
| Category | Active-system action |
|---|---|
| Authentication account and sessions | Sessions are revoked and the Supabase authentication user is deleted. |
| Saved names, birth inputs, profiles, match rooms, and derived report facts | Account-owned records are deleted. |
| Saved reports, share links, corrections, and report access | Account-owned records are deleted or invalidated through ownership deletion. |
| Account-linked consent and product-research records | Records linked to the authenticated account are deleted by the account-data procedure. Email-only records require a separately verified support request. |
| First-party analytics | Account-associated events and events for the current opted-in browser identifier are deleted when that identifier is supplied. |
| Payment and entitlement ledger | Personal ownership is removed or de-identified while minimum financial records may remain for payment, tax, fraud, accounting, or dispute needs. |
4. Limits and provider retention
- Analytics identifiers held only on a different browser cannot be located from the current browser unless another record links them.
- Support correspondence may need separate review because it can exist outside the application database.
- Email-only research or lead records require separately verified support review; automated account controls do not use a reusable email address as proof of ownership.
- Stripe and other providers keep records under their settings, legal duties, fraud controls, and retention policies.
- Provider logs and backups may persist for a limited period after deletion from active application systems.
- We may retain or de-identify the minimum record necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, document a refund/deletion, or prevent fraud.
Zohvia does not promise an unverified active-deletion, response, or backup-purge deadline.
5. Email requests and another person's data
Email support@das.media from the account address with “Export my data” or “Delete my account” in the subject. We may request information needed to verify identity and authority. If another adult entered your birth details in a match report, you may request review and deletion of information about you; we must verify the request and locate the relevant record before acting.
6. Privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you additional access, correction, portability, deletion, objection, restriction, appeal, or authorized-agent rights. Legal exceptions may apply. The Privacy Policy describes the current data flow and contact route.
